1. Meet at 8 a.m. Thursday morning at the public dock. If you can't be there by then we will be off to the right (right when facing town from on the lake) in the big sandy area.
2. We haven't had any volunteers for bringing snacks.....
3. All logistics are taken care of.
4. Anyone want to contribute anything in particular or flag a donation for a certain contribution? (snacks, drinks, something else to show our appreciation for all the hard work......)
See y'all in Santa Cruz!
Here's a few pics of the Tuleros planting another exposed point in Santiago bay today.
If it seems like we plant in Santiago a lot more then the rest of the lake, well, that would be accurate. It's so much simpler to do there due to the fact that we just hire the Tuleros to do it. They bring the Tul and no stones are needed (which moving stones, securing stones to the tul, carrying marcolas, etc is 80% of the work). It takes 30 minutes to do 150 plants when we don't have to do all the stone work whereas it will take us hours and dozens of people to do the same amount in the rest of the lake.
